Ingredients list
Helianthus annuus seed oil: (Sunflower seed oil) is obtained from the extraction of the seeds of the Helianthus Annuus plant belonging to the Compositae family, and is an emollient agent. Chemically it is a mixture of mono-di-triglycerides with polyunsaturated and unsaturated fatty acids. It comes in the form of an amber-colored liquid that is added in the fat phase of the emulsion. It is mainly composed of triglycerides, where the main fatty acids are linoleic, palmitic, stearic, oleic and linolenic, and also contains lecithin, carotenoids and tocopherols. Like all vegetable oils, sunflower oil is well absorbed by the skin due to its eudermic properties and has a moisturizing, nourishing and emollient action. Thanks to its composition, it has an antioxidant activity that protects the cells of the body from lipid peroxidation and skin aging by free radicals and reduces the rancidity of the product. In the formulation of cosmetic preparations it gives spreadability and makes the skin smooth and silky. It is also used as a conditioner for shampoos and hair care products. Sunflower oil is generally considered a safe ingredient.
Ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate: sunscreen is a substance capable of selectively filtering solar radiation. It is therefore a filter capable of separating part of the solar spectrum by absorption, reflection or diffusion. The same definition and classification of ultraviolet radiation UVA, UVB and UVC
Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane: is a broad spectrum UVA filter and must be incorporated in the oily phase of the emulsions. Since it only offers protection against UVA rays, it must be combined with UVB filters to ensure complete coverage against the entire range of radiation.
