Tattoo Removal/Lightning

It is critical to follow all aftercare instructions to prevent complications, scarring and to achieve optimum results.

  • KEEP AREA CLEAN and open to the air. Do not cover with a Band-Aid or anything else. Air/Oxigen provides good and faster healing. You should not be touching the area at all, but if you find yourself needing to, please make sure your hands are exceptionally clean. Wash with water and antibacterial hand soap if you accidentally touch them the first day, pat dry with paper towel.
  • DO NOT SOAK the treated area in water. You can shower as normal, but keep the area out of the shower spray (visors will be provided) and do not let the area wet.
  • NO BATHING, SWIMMING, SAUNAS, HOT TUBS, TANNING, OR INTENSE EXERCISE.
  • DO NOT disrupt the scabbing process (i.e. no picking, scratching, applying ointment, etc). All scabbing needs to fall off naturally, if you force or pick a scab off you will disrupt the process and possibly cause scarring.
  • TREAT AREA WITH TLC. DO NOT DO ANYTHING AT ALL THAT COULD CAUSE ISSUE OR PROBLEMS TO THE TREATED AREA. IF YOU ARE NOT SURE OR HAVE ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE CALL OR EMAIL US.
  • ONCE ALL SCABBING HAS NATURALLY FALLEN OFF, apply one drop Vitamin E Oil 3 to 4 times throughout the day EVERY OTHER DAY (every 48 hours) for a minimum of 4 weeks, or until next lightening session. DO NOT start applying the ointment UNTIL all scabbing has completely fallen off. It is our goal to keep the area as dry as possible until all scabs have naturally fallen off.
  • LIPS please drink all liquids with a straw until all scabbing has naturally fallen off.
  • LIPS Avoid whitening, peroxide toothpastes while healing. Cut food into small bites...no biting into a sandwich. Try to keep mouth expressions to a minimum.

PROCELL THERAPIES (COLLAGEN INDUCTION)

Immediately after you Procell procedure, the area may feel tight and dry and appear flushed like a sunburn.

  • DO NOT APPLY ANY COOLING AGENTS TO THE AREA, we want it to stay inflamed which is the natural healing process
  • DO NOT take ant anti-inflammatory medications such as ibuprofen, Motrin or Advil. These agents will interfere with the natural inflammatory process that is critical and responsible for your skin rejuvenation. Follow these simple steps:
  • DAY 1. Wash your face with sterile or filtered water the day of your treatment
  • DAY 1-7. You may clean your face as usual, using a gentle skin cleanser, and apply the skin repair serum at night before bed. Stay away from exfoliants or glycol acids that are present in certain cleansers as these can make your skin very dry after the procedure. Be sure to use an approved SPF50 or greater sunscreen.
  • Apply PROCELL serum 1, wait 30 seconds, then apply serum 2 and massage until absorbed on all areas treated.

Important:

Within two days following your Procell procedure, you may notice skin dryness. This is due to an increased turnover of skin cells. During this period, you may apply your skin moisturizer. If we used the roller around the eyes, or on bone areas, you may have a little micro bruising that may persist for 3/4 days. It can easily be covered with makeup (mineral powder or Rigenera BB Cream is the only make up allowed immediately following your procedure). Your skin will look dry during this period.
Absolutely NO TANNING for 2 weeks following the procedure, this may cause hyperpigmentation.

!!!Your body's function and overall health are reflected in your skin; maintain good hydration, which will aid in the skin's ability to heal and maintain a proper balance. If your body is not getting sufficient amount of water, the lack of hydration will present itself by turning your skin dry, tight and flaky. Dry skin has less resilience and is more prone to wrinkling. Vitamin C and hyaluronic acid is KEY to the production of collagen, which gives our skin its firmness and strength.

Microchanneling is a great non-invasive cosmetic treatment to slow down and reverse the aging of your skin; however in order to achieve the best results, we strongly recommend to start following a great skin care regimen.

What You Need To Know Before Scheduling

For those whom are considering getting Permanent Makeup done, the final result and what to expect during the healing process is extremely important! So please take the time to read this before making your final decision.

Permanent makeup is an Art, not Science; results vary depending on skin type, skin undertones and other health factors. Good results are achieved when skin is healthy; if you have any sensitivities on the area that will be receiving Permanent Makeup or Collastin Fusion Therapy services, we recommend treating your skin first.
Strictly following aftercare instructions given by your artist is a must for optimal results. Skin is a living organ and we have no control over your body healing function, and additional sessions may be required to achieve desired results.

If you had Permanent Makeup done prior to Francesca, please email info@francescapmu.com prior to scheduling your appointment; we will evaluate each case and discuss the plan of action. If you received Microblading prior to your treatment with Francesca, you may have some scar tissue as a result of this technique, therefor you may not have good retention. Francesca DOES NOT perform microblading, as she does not believe in long term results with this technique.

All Permanent Makeup Cosmetic treatments need at least 2 sessions to achieve good results, however, you may require more if your skin is sensitive.

Each session is done 6 to 8 weeks far apart.

What to expect
After First Session

Brows

  • Day 1: Brows will appear slightly thicker than the initial template, color looks darker and warmer due to the redness of the skin.
  • Day 2-4: Brows are darker than what you've expected, about 2 shades darker than what they will actually be once healed. Some redness may still persist on some clients.
  • Day 6-10: Brows normally start peeling around day 5-6. Some clients slightly peel, while some others may experience some scabbing. Once they start flaking, some areas of the eyebrows will fade more than others and as the skin heals, it will start to darken up again over a 3-4 week period
  • Day 28-40: At this time you'll actually start seeing the final result. Usually the final result is visible by the 4-5 week mark, while on subjects with mature skin, the healing process takes a little longer and takes about 6-7 weeks for the cell turnover to be completed.
We have no control over your body healing process, so please, be patient!

Important:

Your skin may not retain 100% of the color the first time around, this is the reason for a second and sometimes a third session. Skin retains pigment  much better during the touch up appointment, since the tissue is already used to the color.

As months go by hair strokes become lighter and softer. Depending on the skin/age of the client and color of pigment implanted, the brows will last 1-2 years until they need a color boost. It is recommended to wait a minimum a year for a color boost, although some clients with several oily skin may need a touch up sooner. A consistent use of sunblock and limiting the use of products like retinol, glycolic acid in the brow area will reduce excessive fading.

The difference between a permanent makeup artist and a body artist is that we tend to work more superficially in order to achieve natural results; if we pack in as much pigment as a body artist does, the final result will be unnatural and too saturated.

Eyes

Whether you have had an eyelash enhancement rather than eyeliner, your eyes will appear puffy for the following 2-3 day.

For the most natural lash enhancements, sometimes one session is enough; thicker eyeliners may need 2-3 sessions.

Skin should never be overworked; the eye tissue is super sensitive and very thin; if your eyes start bleeding or become swollen we prefer to complete the work in multiple sessions.

  • Day  1-3: You may experience puffy eyes, heavy lids.Try to sleep in an elevated position to help reduce swelling at night.
  • Day 4-6: some scabbing may occur; keep the area clean and no makeup on your eyes until completely peeled.

Eyes usually heal within 1 week. NO MAKEUP during this time.

Eyes permanent makeup lasts longer compared to other areas and doesn’t require yearly touch ups such as eyebrows or lips due to the thinner tissue.

Lips

Be prepared for bright colored lips and swelling immediately following your procedure. The fuller the natural lip the more swelling occurs. Lips do not look nice while healing! If you are not prepared to put up with how they look in the healing process do not have them done.

  • Day 1-2: Lips may be swollen and the color is very bright.
  • Day 3-6: They will go dry and flaky! Be patient, because lips heal relatively quickly. So you may have 4 to 7 days of them looking dry and chapped but the healed result is so worth it!

A Yearly color boost recommended after first touch up.
