What is Collagen?
Collagen is the main structural protein in the extracellular space in the various connective tissues in bodies. As the main component of connective tissue, it is the most abundant protein in our body making up from 25% to 35% of the whole-body protein content. Collagen consists of amino acids wound together to form triple-helices to form of elongated fibrils.It is mostly found in fibrous tissues such as tendons, ligaments, and skin.
As we start aging, our body starts producing LESS COLLAGEN, skin gets less elastic and thin; this LEADS to wrinkles creases, and lines on the skin.
How is the Procedure Performed?
A single Procell treatment creates hundreds of thousands of microchannels. In response to each micro-injury, an inflammatory healing process begins which initiates the formation of new collagen. Over time, the repeated healing process improves the surface texture and the overall appearance of the skin.
