Helianthus annuus seed oil: (Sunflower seed oil) is obtained from the extraction of the seeds of the Helianthus Annuus plant belonging to the Compositae family, and is an emollient agent. Chemically it is a mixture of mono-di-triglycerides with polyunsaturated and unsaturated fatty acids. It comes in the form of an amber-colored liquid that is added in the fat phase of the emulsion.
